Title: It's alive: websdr.pb8w.nl
Post by: PB8W on Jan 25, 2025, 01:15 PM
Hi all,

After going through a pretty steep learning curve the past days, I'm glad to announce that my PhantomSDR+ site is live!  :)

WebSDR Netherlands by PB8W (http://websdr.pb8w.nl)

Still only covering the 40 meter band, because of the use of a RTL-SDR V4 stick and a low performance Intel Nuc, but that will change as soon as the already ordered RX-888 MKII will arrive.

Please have a look and see how it performs.

Beware to do the heat-modification or check if it's done before you put it into action.

Else the receiver will burn it's USB-chip and stops working.

Do not fire it up before you checked it.

Hello Willem,

Congratulations on getting your RX-888 / PhantomSDR+ server up and running. I enjoyed some time tuning around to a few favorite stations. There was a cw contest on 40 meters, so there was an opportunity to monitor some busy frequencies. All was well.
